Wow, so Matt and I got pizza during lunch, but it took forever and I feel like everywhere I've ever gone I ended up with a feeling that I didn't quite understand the salesperson or I didn't say the right thing. Especially when the workers look at each other like that. Yikes. So we ended up with one pizza instead of the two we ordered. It was good! Mmm. Then after school we went to lots of Reisebüros (travel agencies) and asked about trips up to Oslo (supposedly by ferry they are about 180 €, but this is the high season, so it wasn't so). Finally we talked to this guy at the Hauptbahnhof. There were two, actually. Both of them didn't speak English. That is a good thing. I was forced to use my German in an area I didn't know very well. We worked it out, too. After a million options that were too expensive, we decided to do the dreaded and take the train, since we already have the eurailpass. The reason no one does that is because it is 21 hours long! Another 21 back, whew! But, we'll be staying for long enough to look around. We just need to figure out what we'll be doing in an upright position on the train for that long (there were no sleep rooms). Anyway, we paid 20€ to make reservations on the train and that's it. Matt's figuring out a hotel. Then Matt rode the bus back with me and barely missed his bus, so we went to my awesome host family's and had some bread and cheese and then went back. There was a spider in my backpack today. Not having to do with the spider, my backpack weighed a ton! So I cleaned it out last night. I also asked my hostmom finally if I could do some wash. And, since I didn't want to have my underwear hanging out for all to see, I took it out and hung it in the bathroom this morning.
