I rode the bike too fast again. Ryan and I talked again on the way and decided to go to the Freilich Museum today. In class, I was excited to turn in my Märchen. We got the exam back and I had Ulli minus another point that really shouldn't have been given to me. During lunch, I went to Jan's office and asked him about accomodations for matt. We figured out a cheap dorm! Yay! Then I wanted to get a döner, but there wasn't time, so I went back and met Ryan so I could show him where the computer lab was. He had the same trouble with doors as I (which, by the way, I was laughing to myself today because I saw a German girl have the same trouble. Yay! It's not just us American idiots). He told me which chocolate was good in the machines, and it WAS. We had a quiz on narrative past and I think I aced it, or nearly (almost, I got minus one). After class I went to the computer lab to type up blogs and figure out eurailpasses, which are the most confusing, annoying, complicated things because there are so many choices and variations. Then I ran to catch the bus to the Freilichtmuseum and got there just fine. For students it was three euros. Wow! The old houses were so cool! I took pictures of old furniture, thatched roofs, windmills, pigs, lakes, donkeys, wooden chests, etc. Ryan forgot his camera, so I took pics for him too. It was beautiful. It smelled old. My camera died again and was fine in about twenty minutes. Bah!
Then I went back to my host family's and tried to call home, but couldn't. Then I prayed that Mom would call me. Then I thought I needed to do all I could first, and I thought to call Ulli and ask her how to call America. I was missing the 001 at the start. So I could only get hold of Dad. Poor Mom is stressing out. I really wanted to talk to her. I called Matt and said I was worried about him coming. We will just be friends for sure, he reassured me. He got my europass and is bringing it. Guess what I had for dinner. YUP. I'll weigh like 10 lbs when I get back to America.
