Well, I'm not sure what to do with my pictures. I can only send one at a time to Matt. Anyway, here is the next blog entry:
Today I:
-woke up early, couldn't get back to sleep, and finally got up to go to the bathroom. I saw something strange on the floor, and when I leaned over to look at it, it hopped away! A darling little frog hopped around and around the room. I took pictures of it. I wish I could figure out how to paste them onto this blog.
-got ready, wearing a dress although we would be touring and unable to go to church. I was excited for that. Oh well. Nächste Woche.
-ate brötchen, marmelade, käse, und kakao milsch für frühstück.
-talked about politics with my hostfamily, and later I felt glad that Liy knew more so she could explain to them better than I. They saw Fahrenheit 911 while they were in the U.S.
-sat in the top front of a double decker tour bus and marveled at the driver's feats.
-walked around historical Kiel.
-understood the tour guide's deliberately slow, clear German!
-looked around a maritime Musem.
-went on a ferry.
-walked barefooted on the beach, collecting rocks and shells and looking at dead crabs and jellyfish.
-talked to a hilarious Bosnian girl named . . . Admira?
-mixed nast minearl water with orange juice to make something yummy.
-took MORE vegetables off meals (the onions from the pizza last night just about killed me even though I took most of them off, as well as the peppers and mushrooms. I brushed very well twice and still had nasty tasting breath).
-drunk cherry juice that tasted like cherry pie filling, mmm.
-accepted my hostmom's offer to let me drive her car in the evenings. Ü
