Random Goober thoughts

Matt is in Vegas. I need to talk to him.

I saw a cartoon today of a cat with his tail in one of those walls they have in Holland to keep back the water, and a kid is walking by, turned toward the cat, who is saying, "Hey kid, got a minute?" I had to explain it to my coworker.

I finally got a hold of Mike Bourne's family to ask for his address, and his mom said, "Aren't you off and married?" When I said no, she was so excited. She kept saying, "That's so great! Well, for Mike! Yay!"

Work yesterday was great. I got to work four counters in four hours! Yippy! Now I just need to pass my cash register/pricing test and the call number test and I will be totally trained. When we were leaving, Kaman found out that Julie Gail left early since she was feeling sick, and forgot to tell Kaman to find another ride. It was raining outside, and I knew it would take a while for Kaman's husband to get there, so I told her I would just take her up to her house in Bountiful. After I dropped her off and met her husband, I drove to Staci and Justin's house. The boys were sleeping, all except Mikey, who played with plastic frogs with me. We just talked and I was glad I went there. They care for me and want me to be happy. That's cool. Justin kept offering me spaghetti salad, but I don't like that stuff, so I said no. Then he said, "Well, I would be offended if you didn't eat some. Actually, since everything I cooked got EATEN . . . " Staci said, "But those were hamburgers!" Justin: "So, there were 24 of them!" Staci: "Yeah, but there were 17 people here!"
