Random Goober thoughts

Yesterday Mom and I got in a fight - she kept criticizing me for everything, even when she told me to just tell her what I needed and what I thought. So finally I just walked away crying and went and waited on the porch - Emily (my ride) never came, so I had to go inside and call Matt. I'm so glad to have him. He comforted me and just listened. While at school, I stopped at every courtesy phone and dialed the Family History Number, never getting an answer. Then I called home and they had left a message! I called Matt and told him my frustrations, and he said that he was leaving soon and that he could give me a ride. So, I walked down to the theater, and he told me that his teacher was very impressed with his theater model - it was amazing, I must admit. So we left, and I used his cell phone to call the number - and they picked up! They wanted to give me the job! Awesome. So, I told her that I could come in on Monday and work out a schedule and fill out paperwork, and she told me that I needed to always have on nylons (EEEEW, GROSS!), and a skirt past the knees (I only have skirts at the knee, so I need to go shopping for those and for the nylons). At Golden Swirl later, I was trying in vain to figure out a schedule with my other job too, and it was truly, physically impossible! There was NO way that it could work, at least until school ends. So, I called and left a message on her answering machine saying that I was already scheduled for my other job so I needed to wait for a week and hoped that was alright.

When I got home and told Mom about the nylons and skirt, she said, "Maybe you should use the stuff on your bed for that." ? I went downstairs and she put a nice card apologizing as well as some clothing she bought for me at Fred Meyer's. She even remembered that my favorite pants ripped open in the bum on Monday, and got me new ones. Matt told me I had to go give her a hug and say sorry and "I love you". I didn't want to (embarrassing), but Matt made me, and I did, and I was glad.
