Tanya emailed me yesterday and said that she can't go to Nauvoo! If she can't go, then the whole thing's off, because obviously my parents wouldn't let me go with just Matt. I'm so disappointed! I've wanted to go since last summer, and it always fell through because of someone else who originally said they could go backing out. The thing about this time is that Tanya has known about it for probably seven months, so why didn't she arrange ahead of time? She said she needs to save up her money and that her work scheduled her anyway and that she's missed too many dance rehearsals! So Matt and I have called a lot of people, but everyone has some excuse. It almost seems like someone doesn't want us to go . . . I'm crossing my fingers that we'll get to go somehow. I've had my hopes up for so long. Well, I guess I will now go try to call one more person and then Jenny suggested that Matt and I see "Touching the Void" at the Broadway Theatre. Matt wants to have a picnic, yay! I hope it's bright enough outside. It's much warmer today, and I even broke out the capris.
