So today I had my hair in two braids - not just from the back of the head, but full on French braids from the top. When I walked in to the chiropractor, a lady walked in at the same time. I usually would wave to the doctor in her office, but I saw this new sign that said, "Have a seat and the doctor will be with you in a moment". So, I sat down and started looking through a magazine. The lady said, "Oh, do we sit here?" I nodded. So her doctor came out and brought her into one of the rooms and I waited and read and waited and wondered why my doctor wasn't coming out of her office, in which she was sitting and reading. Then the other chiropractor came and talked to her and neither of them paid much attention to me. All of a sudden, Dr. Daw turned to me and said, "Are you that woman's daughter?" Caught off guard, I said, "Aah, no, I'm . . . your patient." "Michelle!?! I'm sorry, I was just waiting and waiting for you! You look ten years younger with those braids - I thought you were her daughter!" So, in we went, and later she told me that I probably won't need to go for much more than a week or two! My muscles feel kind of dead right now, but they are so much more loose and more painless! Yay for chiropractors!
